I Believe I can Fly (IBF) is an international non profit project based on the creation, publication, and distribution of free inspirational craft books for underprivileged children, including orphanages, children in hospitals and townships. It was started by Johan Hamid in October 2016.

He created a specific craft book for children. The book is about how to make paper planes, and includes instructions, paper, pictures of children from around the world as well as some inspirational content.

The book which is distributed for free is filled with planes with designs from around the world, some of them done by children as young as 7.

After a highly successful test in Kuala Lumpur during Christmas 2016, the project has been extended to other countries.
The book is being tested in orphanages, children's hospitals and underprivileged schools in the following countries: Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, USA, and UK

The free book is to be distributed by volunteers from various non profit organisations, at orphanages, underprivileged schools and children’s hospitals on a regular basis.
IBF is currently identifying several local safe and reliable non profit organisations such as the Veterans Association and the pilot association.

Johan is creating non profit organisations in each of these countries so that local companies are able to sponsor the printing of the book locally with tax deductible donations.
The objective is to distribute 250 000 books this year in these 5 countries.

IBF is currently looking for
Children with great ability to draw to put their designs and their names on the planes.
Pictures of children playing with paper planes, the best ones will be featured in the book.
Connected and resourceful persons to lead the country non profit organisation.
Non profit organisations that regularly visit orphanages, hospitals, and underprivileged area, to help distribute the books.
